2. Merge onto I-25 N via the ramp to I-40 N/Downtown/Santa Fe 19.9 mi

ALBUQUERQUE is the largest city in New Mexico. Be sure to stop here if you want a great place to shop or fancy place to eat.

3. Take exit 242 for NM-165 E towards US-550 W/Bernalillo/Placitas 0.2 mi

4. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for US-550/Sandoval County Station 207 ft

5. Turn left at NM-165 W/NM-44 N/US-550 N

6. Continue to follow NM-44 N/US-550 N 152 mi

BERNALILLO is a good place to get gas, drinks, bathroom, food. Last stop until San Ysidro and Cuba.

SAN YSIDRO has a couple of gas stations if you are desperate. Watch the speed limit very closely; the police like to catch speeders here and in Cuba.

CUBA is about mid-way and has gas, bathrooms, food – McDonald’s at the Shell Station, Subway, and a Mexican place called El Bruno’s. Stop and stretch; this is the last stop until you hit Bloomfield. The cleanest bathrooms are at the McDonald’s Shell station.

CONTINENTAL DIVIDE is about 12 miles west of Cuba – between mile markers 76 and 77. Keep a sharp eye out for the sign.

IF you have a hotel on SCOTT AVE, turn right on Scott Ave. approx. 1 mile
